PBP TRIO

Michele Polga: tenor sax

Rosa Brunello: double bass

Gioele Pagliaccia: drums, percussion

These three very active musicians have collaborated throughout the years in different bands and projects and although they are all band leaders in their own right, in 2017 they decided to unite forces and play in a trio format.

They mostly play original tunes, occasionally throwing in the pot renditions of standards by musical heroes such as Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk and Tom Waits, keeping their feet firm in the tradition without forgetting the present and looking ahead for what has’nt been done before.
